I agree, as someone who has been fortunate enough to find my soul mate, it is true... you just know. There is no real test to determine if someone is your soul mate, but there are steps you can take to better your chances of finding that special person in this life.
The most important thing is to be wholly honest with yourself, on every single level. Until you have done this, you have no chance of discovering true love. Once you have awoken yourself, you will be more in-tune,a nd have a better chance of discovering your soul mate. Another helpful hint is to define qualities and characteristics that you believe your soul mate will have. If you believe this person will be compassionate and living, then your chances will greatly improve if you make a point of living a loving and compassionate life every day. This will stimulate the draw of your two souls together, no matter the distance between you.
